Please forgive my long hiatus! I'm sure you've been waiting breathlessly for a new post these past... ahem, months. The long wait is over. I now present to you, without further delay, Two Months In Pictures, by Emily Johnson.

I turned 29! My big present was this fabulous stroller. Thanks, Denae, for turning me on to Phil and Teds and also for letting me infringe on your excellent taste and personal style.
Action shot.

If your husband does nothing but work and in the evenings you are at VERY loose ends and your children need to be entertained, try putting a diaper on your baby's head. It will entertain both children and adults.
Milo in the big kid swing with the ever-present corkie. Sigh.
Cute, cute action shot from the little park across the street from our house. But you can't have him! He's mine!
Good old Yia-Yia helping Milo feed the birds. Whenever we go over to her house the first thing Milo does is run over to the bird feeder and shout "Num Nums! Weet! Weet!" which mean, "Please, Yia-Yia, could we please repeat the enjoyable experience of replenishing your bird feeder with seeds I get to scoop out of a bucket with a scooper and when the container is full you can lift me up so I will put it back on its hook? Aren't you glad I am here to help you with this and that together we can give the tweet-tweets their num-nums?"
My favorite picture of recent months. Milo had no idea what we were doing or why I wanted to take his picture.
It recently became necessary for me to pump instead of breastfeed (long story but I was given a radio-active isotope that required a two-week cessation of breastfeeding without being told beforehand that that was a side-effect (bastards). I did everything I could but after that long of a time without actually breastfeeding I couldn't effectively start up again. My supply was down and Walter was not interested. I was pretty heartbroken about this for a while but I am finally moving on.) This picture indicates the impression I was giving Milo of what adults do all day. He just wants to be big.
Well folks, never fear. I plan to repent and never go this long ever again without posting. Ah, I can almost hear your sighs of relief. Don't worry friends, you can count on me! At least until enough time has passed that I forget again.

Oh I've missed you! Happy Birthday! I hope it was wonderful!
I love your new stroller. Phil & Ted is definitely worth the money.
Your kids are of course adorable. I wish I could meet them in person soon!
Emily, by checking your blog I see that we have even MORE things in common than we did before: we are both 29, have the same stroller, have two boys (that are destined to be best friends!) AND have hard-working lawyer husbands who went to law school together. Oh, I would LOVE to get together. Want to come to LA? :)
It's Lorraine, btw. Guess I didn't switch accounts.
That stroller is so cute! But not as cute as your boys :) Thanks so much for all those pictures! Love it! I especially like Milo with the breast pump *snicker snicker*
