Hey people - here are some videos of our little concert from July. That's right, three months ago. Because that's how long it takes us to get around to things (like buying a shed or cleaning the bathroom). You know, unless it's really important like deciding to have a second baby. We do that sort of thing on impulse.
Anyway. Here's some videos of The Oranges doing their thing. If you just want to look at a highlight you can watch this one (cover of The Black Keys "Tighten Up") and start it around 2:10 which will give you Milo dancing. Milo loves to dance. It's so freaking cute - this new kid better be able to keep up.
This one is a cover of "Seven Nation Army" by The White Stripes. On Matt's behalf I'd like to encourage you to comment on how awesome his guitar sounds - he made that amp!
This last one is an Oranges original - "Sue's Old Knee." We don't seem to be able to write songs that don't have ridiculous premises. I guess it's kind of our signature sound.
So there you are. After three years of posting under the blog name "The Oranges" I can finally prove that we actually do have a band. If you would like to hire The Oranges for your party or event just let me know! You can pay us in birthday cake and we'll provide our own equipment but we need like six months notice beforehand so we can procrastinate rehearsing for at least five. Loves!

Um WOW! That is amazing. I love the sound, your voice is beautiful and Matt's guitar skills are amazing.
You look so cute to boot. Milo is adorable and his dancing cannot be beat.
Miss you.
GAahh! How is it that I never got to hear you sing in person?!
I must second Cami and say that you and Matt both sound excellent. Excellent! Milo is clearly musically inclined himself so I bet it won't be too long before he is up there with you guys. :)
I was going to comment earlier but I had to come to grips with the fact that really no matter what we do, Margaret and I will never be as cool as you guys. It's cool now though, we've accepted it. We need to get together sometime. I'll see if I have a client that can get sued in Missouri. It's totally our turn to come visit you guys out there...
I know them! That's my sister up there! How cool am I?!
