Annoying and Nice

Things that are Annoying:

• Being eight plus months pregnant
• When the coolest people in St. Louis decide to relocate to California - because they really need more cool people in California, Denae.
• When your kid poops in the tub. During a bubble bath.
• When that kid runs away naked while you're trying to clean him/the bathroom up and finds your shoes in your bedroom and pees on them.
• Not having a garage and having a husband who compulsively collects tools, tennis equipment, and car parts.
• Toddlers who think they are invincible.
• Resurrected ants in the kitchen (I swear these are the same ants we killed in the spring - I recognize them by their little antennae and snarky attitudes).
• "Elmo's Song" - no offense Milo, but I'm getting pretty sick of it.

Things that are Nice:

• Expecting a new baby.
• When your husband makes dinner and does the laundry.
• Good books.
• Beautiful fall weather.
• Apples dipped in that caramel sauce you can buy at Whole Foods - so expensive but so good.
• Getting first dibs on all the cool baby equipment the coolest people in St. Louis can't afford to take with them (but that's the only perk about you moving, Denae).
• Halloween is coming!
• A shed for the backyard is coming!
• Being the mom of the best kid(s) on the planet.
• Watching husband play with best kid on the planet (and having him around all weekend for once).
• When best kid on the planet takes a three hour nap.
